All of our work is made, by hand at the point of order to fit your needs and unique requirements. In that sense everything we do is bespoke and unique.
However, we do also offer a Bespoke Design service, where we will discus your design interests and collaborate with you to inspire a brand new, one off design that is guaranteed to be totally unique and meaningful to you.
We will consult with you in depth about your background, the purpose for the item, what you want to see incorporated into the design, and what materials you would like included. Please note that, for ethical reasons, we only work in Recycled Sterling Silver as a metal, and that we will guide the design according to our aesthetic and ability to source ethical and sustainable gemstones.
What you will receive is a treasured ethical artwork that is all about you or the person you are gifting it to, personally handmade by artisans who will be at your services for years to come.
Repairs
As skilled craftspeople with a personal touch, and because we are so happy to listen to and reflect our collectors' desires, we're often asked to repair cherished items that have been damaged through the years. Whether this is one of our own pieces that may have become damaged, or an item made by another designer, or even an antique, we are able to conduct most repairs to consciously bring the piece back to it's former glory.
We will consult with you about the item, the nature of the damage and the repair needed, and what may or may not be possible. Please note, some repairs are simply beyond hope, or are so expensive that it may be more economical to use the parts of the item to create something brand new.
While we do not work with gold to create any of our own collection for ethical reasons, repairing, repurposing, or recycling old gold is something we support and may undertake on a case by case basis.
Experience Days
We have introduced a new service to our studio: Bespoke guided making days for 1 or 2 people!
Come and join us in our working studio where we will introduce you to the professional tools and techniques of the fascinating crafts of smithing and jewellery making. We will consult with you beforehand to gauge your existing ability and what sort of piece you might be interested in making.
For £225 per person, plus materials, your day will be broken into three parts:
Starting at 10am with an introduction to safe techniques, the tools and studio environment, a demonstration of making, and a design exercise.
Followed at 12 by a break for a homemade vegan or vegetarian lunch.
And finishing from 1-4pm with a guided making session where you will create your very own piece from scratch!
Your piece will then be sent to our registered assay office to be hallmarked before being sent on to you by post. Most people will finish their pieces before leaving on the day, but if you don't then we will perform any light finishing required before sending off to be hallmarked.
